**Role Purpose**:

- The
- **Human Capital Business Partner** is responsible for managing and driving Human Capital related activities such as
- **employee experience and relations compliance**, disciplinary and grievance issues, organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management and development, total rewards for all MAF Retail employees in Jordan. The role holder is also responsible for working with functional leaders, teams, managers, and key stakeholders to
- **manage, enhance and execute people experience initiatives and programs** in order to support a
- **culture of excellence, high performance and engagement.**

**Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Engagement Programs**
- Identify and undertake all aspects of Program management related to workforce diversity, inclusion and staff engagement
- Evaluate the success of employee engagement/experience projects and initiatives and provide recommendations on how to enhance relevant activities
- Review and analyse key external trends and influences on employee engagement strategies to incorporate best practices relevant to all employees
- Facilitate the creation of an action plan to address the employee engagement / internal customer satisfaction challenges

**Internal Communication and Newsletters**
- Collaborate with the Human Capital department and other relevant departments to ensure that internal communications and messages are relevant, consistent, reliable and timely for all identified internal audiences

**Human Capital Strategy and Initiatives**
- Develop and implement Human Capital Strategies for the assigned country in line with overall business strategy and business direction, with a focus on attracting, retaining and developing talent
- Work with various Human Capital Functions drive and deliver key Human Capital initiatives such as performance management and talent reviews, succession planning, talent development, total rewards, employee relations and employee experience
- Contribute to the implementation of all relevant Human Capital projects initiated by the Human Capital Team in the Corporate Head Office and provide input based on country requirements

**Organization Design**
- Collaborate with functional leaders on organization design and planning initiatives such as developing organizational structures, operating models, and manpower planning
- Support in reviewing and approving role profiles to fit role requirements and guidelines
- Work closely with the Total Rewards team to conduct accurate job evaluations

**Talent Acquisition**
- Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies and lead end-to-end recruitment to attract talent for the assigned business unit
- Conduct Human Capital interviews to support the overall recruitment process, and contribute to the development of fitment sheets and offer letter

**Talent Management and Development**
- Ensure implementation of the talent management processes and frameworks containing best practice elements
- Ensure implementation of controls to help Identify employees with high potential for growth, and support their development
- Ensure regular reviews are conducted on progress of individuals and leaders’ and development plans and targets to ensure efficient and effective talent development
- Deliver training for various Human Capital initiatives in order to ensure business stakeholders are fully aware and empowered for the journey ahead

**Policies and Procedures**
- Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and team members in areas including but not limited to Human Capital policies and procedures, grievance, employee relations, performance management and performance reviews.

**Definition of Success
- Developing and implementing effective Human Capital Strategies for the Business Unit
- Improving **overall employee experience and satisfaction**:

**Personal Characteristics and Required Background**:
**Minimum Qualifications/education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Human Capital Management
- Professional HR Certification such as CIPR, SHRM
