**Receptionist/Insurance Co-ordinator**

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting and Welcoming Patients: Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all patients, visitors, and staff entering the clinic.
- Register patients, verify their personal information, and create or update their records accurately. Direct patients to the waiting area and notify dental staff of their arrival.
- Appointment Scheduling and Management: Efficiently schedule and manage patient appointments using the clinic's scheduling software.
- Patient Communication and Inquiries: Answer incoming calls and promptly and professionally address patient inquiries, providing accurate information regarding clinic services, policies, and procedures.
- Billing and Insurance: Collect and process payments from patients for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Verify patients' insurance coverage, explain dental benefits, and help patients understand their financial obligations. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering office and clinic supplies as needed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Confidentiality and Compliance: Adhere to strict patient confidentiality guidelines and maintain the security and privacy of patient information.
- Follow all applicable healthcare regulations and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.

Ability to commute/relocate:
