**Position Summary**:
The Administrative Assistant (HR) will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Department at the European University in the UAE. This role involves a wide range of HR-related administrative tasks, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and general HR office support.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment**:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate the interview process and prepare necessary documentation.
- **Onboarding**:
- Prepare and process new hire paperwork.
- Conduct new employee orientations and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- **Employee Records**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files, including personnel records, performance reviews, and attendance records.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits and compensation.
- **HR Administration**:
- Handle general HR inquiries and provide administrative support to HR staff.
- Coordinate HR-related events and training sessions.
- Assist with the preparation of HR reports and analyses.
- **Office Management**:
- Maintain an organized and efficient HR office environment.
- Manage HR-specific supplies and equipment.
- **Staff and Faculty Support**:
- Provide administrative support to staff and faculty members, including assistance with visa processing, government relations, and general inquiries.
- **Government Relations**:
- Manage relationships with government agencies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with government officials on matters related to visas, work permits, and other administrative requirements.
- **Visa Processing**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum [number] years of relevant administrative experience in HR.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a university or academic setting is preferred.
