As Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing, reviewing & developing proposals; ensuring deals deliver shareholder value; driving competitive pricing. May include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
- Negotiating with customers (EPCs, IOCs, NOCs); participating in several technical & commercial clarification meetings either virtual or in person. Travel mobility & flexibility is expected, sometimes at short notice.
- Managing complex sales processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side and internally. Technical, economical, logístical and financial aspects are involved in creating a proposal.
- Formulating bid strategy in partnership with Sales Teams, identify Deal and Risk review requirements in addition to obtaining necessarily business approvals.
- Handling products (Gas Turbines, Compressors, Steam Turbines) and Solutions requiring thorough technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products and systems will be used.
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor's or Masters degree from an accredited university or college preferably STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Have minimum of 7 years of experience in Sales development, Proposals and/or bid development.
- Have experience with rotating equipment, energy and oil & gas sectors.
- Have an understanding of contracts, business financials and commercial risk.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English, Arabic and/or French is a plus.
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, manage tight deadlines & last-minute Customer requirements / expectations.
- Have demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects with strong influencing & cross functional leadership experience.
