**Key Accountabilities**
- Client Communication and data management:
- Effectively communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation for onboarding processes.
- Checking and maintaining records of KYC documentation
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure a positive client experience throughout the onboarding journey.
- Team Management:
- Coordinate with a team of KYC/CDD reviewing staff, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team's knowledge and skills.
- Monitor team performance, ensuring quality and efficiency in client onboarding processes.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Compliance, Legal, Relationship Managers and Operations teams, to streamline onboarding processes.
- Foster positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory bodies and third-party service providers.
- Compliance Oversight:
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure the onboarding processes align with current industry standards.
- Liaise with Compliance departments to implement and enforce compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with KYC/CDD requirements.
- Ensure all reporting is completed within the turn around time provided.
Reporting Line: Reporting to the Head of Middle Office:
**Experience Requirements**
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in KYC/CDD Middle Office or Compliance related function, with proven experience in KYC/CDD processes and procedures, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
- Qualification in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. (Master or Bachelor’s degree is an advantage)
- Relevant certifications in compliance and/or financial regulations are a plus.
- Arabic speaker is a must, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to navigate and adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
