**Position Overview**:As the Deputy General Manager (DGM) for our esteemed dry fruit manufacturing company, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various operational and managerial aspects of the organization.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will contribute to the company's growth, strategic planning, and operational excellence by managing key functions and leading a team of professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Operations Management**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production, packaging, and distribution of high-quality dry fruit products.
Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency, minimize waste, and uphold quality standards.
Implement and oversee maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.

**Team Leadership**:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of department heads, supervisors, and other staff members.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among employees.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance team skills.

**Quality Assurance**:Establish and maintain strict quality control procedures to guarantee that all products meet or exceed industry standards.
Monitor and address customer feedback and complaints related to product quality, taking corrective actions as necessary.

**Supply Chain Management**:Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure an uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging materials.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and prices.

**Financial Management**:Assist in preparing and managing the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities to enhance profitability and reduce expenses.

**Strategic Planning**:Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and expansion.
Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making.

**Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure the company's compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality certifications.

**Communication and Reporting**:Prepare and present regular reports to the General Manager and executive team on operational performance, challenges, and achievements.
Foster effective communication channels within the department and across the organization.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or dry fruit industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months

**Salary**: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
