**Summary of profile**

We are seeking a seasoned professional with between 5 - 10 years of experience in managing teams/Departments in the F&B industry ideally in a meal prep company.

**Duties and responsibilities**

The Deputy General Manager will have numerous tasks derived from the crucial role that they will be undertaking. Following are some of the duties and responsibilities but are not limited to

Team Leadership
- Provide effective leadership to the departments, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Manage and collaborate with the department heads/Line Managers to enhance a high-performing team.
- Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and promote professional development.

Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Optimize processes to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the company's strategic vision, goals, and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities internally to grow, by keeping up with the latest market trends, and areas for growth.
- Make informed decisions to drive the organisation's profitability and long-term success.

Communication
- Effectively communicate the company's goals, strategies, and performance to the team and stakeholders.
- Foster transparent communication channels within the organisation.

Financial Management
- Develop and manage the budget, financial forecasts, and expense controls.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying revenue-generation opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

**Work experience**
- Proven 5 - 10 years+ of work experience as a Deputy General Manager in the F&B industry, preferably in a meal prep company or similar industry.

**Educational qualifications**
- Master's degree in business management or in the culinary field.
- Background in the catering or food industry is strongly recommended.
- Certifications in the Culinary field and management will be an advantage.
