Reporting to the Head of Communications, the role of the Public Affairs & CSR Manager involves managing the organization’s relationship with government entities, policymakers, regulators and other external stakeholders; developing strategies to influence public policy, advocate for the organization’s interests, and navigating regulatory issues. As a change agent for good, oversee community engagement efforts and serve as a spokesperson for the organization on public policy matters. Foster a culture of CSR and corporate volunteering across the business and support the company’s commitment to contribute positively towards achieving national and global, social and environmental goals.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive public affairs and community engagement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders, to advocate for the organization's interests, and drive awareness of the corporate strategic direction, capabilities and industry expertise.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact the organization and develop strategies to respond effectively.
- Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and other forums with government officials, industry advocacy groups, community organizations, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate advocacy campaigns and initiatives to advance the organization's policy priorities.
- Provide guidance and support to senior management on public policy matters, regulatory issues, community engagement programmes
- Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, regulatory affairs, ESG and communications, to ensure alignment and consistency in advocacy efforts.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to support public affairs and corporate social responsibility initiatives and activities.
- Oversee community engagement efforts and corporate social responsibility initiatives to enhance the organization's reputation and relationships with stakeholders, develop a CSR framework in alignment with the company’s sustainability framework.
- Manage implementation of the company’s CSR strategic goals, programs and initiatives.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to measure success and social impact
- Report on Public Affairs and CSR activities, measures and impact
- Align with the parent company on policy and CSR efforts, identifying opportunities for collaborations, efficiencies and scalability
- Drive internal understanding and awareness of policies associated to the business and nurture the culture of the business through community engagement efforts, as a change agent for good from an industry and societal perspective
- Ability to navigate complex policies and relationships

Qualifications:

- + 10 years of policy advocacy and CSR experience in the B2B ICT Industry
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters / MBA Preferred
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills
- Proficiency in analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of industry policy, regulatory framework and community engagement programme development
