You will be responsible for part of the largest product area (“Air Out”) in SKOV portfolio and accountable for the continuous development of this product area to become the strongest product offering in the market for ventilation fans for livestock production. The Air Out area is +25% of SKOV revenue and it has grown significantly over the last 5 years and holds a large potential for further development and growth. You are the enthusiastic business developer and product manager, who can execute on this potential and bring SKOV to the next level.

The newly employed Director for Business Development, Thomas O. Hansen, says about the role; _“To become a success you will be measured on the growth development of product responsibilities within SKOV revenues and earnings, and also leading a clearly prioritized, ambitious, and innovative roadmap for SKOV. It is important that you have a strong mindset of responsibility and accountability for the continuous development “Air Out” area. In this way - together with the other colleagues and stakeholders - you will strive to become the strongest system/product provider in all markets, regions, and industry areas such as poultry, pigs, cattle, or insects.” _

**Some of your tasks and responsibilities will be**:

- To drive an ambitious clearly prioritized product roadmap based on market intelligence, competition outlook, markets trends and deep insights into the many market opportunities for SKOV group on global scale.
- To capture new market opportunities and to design and carry out training sessions together with our specialists in the SKOV Academy. Your role will also include cooperation with the sales teams in the release phase of new products.
- To build, validate and be accountable for presenting business cases for new development projects.
- To be accountable according to rules and guidelines for all project execution in SKOV R&D according to SKOV Product Development Model.
- To maintain and develop existing product portfolio and to phase out obsolete products, inventory levels, and stock turnaround. Finally, you will also assist in cost optimization projects.
- You will review and follow up financially on product performance on new development.

You will be energetic with a high personal ambition level and ability to excite other people. You have a high level of personal drive and the ability to set and reach your own goals. A creative mind and a passion for product and business development combined with strong communications skills are also preferable.

In this role it is absolutely important that you are also a strong stakeholder manager, as you will interact with colleagues from sales, R&D, service, marketing, production, dealers, and end-users.
