DMGT Manages a diverse, multinational portfolio of companies with total revenues of £2bn, that provide businesses and consumers with compelling information, analysis, insight, events, news and entertainment.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Awards**
- Identify and invite new judges.
- Build relationships and rapport with awards judges.
- Manage all communication with judges -ensuring they complete judging to deadlines.
- Manage judges on-site at the ceremony.
- Identify top entrant targets and work closely with telemarketers to approach, register, and convert
- Proof finalists and winners content and copy in all promotion, website, and on-site material with marketing
- Populate the online entries portal with entry criteria and entry forms.
- Write briefs for award entrant-entry processes.
- Write briefs for judges -judging process.
**Event Management**
- Liaise with dmg events central operations team on relevant awards venues.
- Invite and brief all awards trophy presenters.
- Write MC scripts.
- Produce AV briefs and awards running orders
- Manage guest list customer service and table planning
- Run internal on-site briefings
- Manage event supplier set up if needed e.g. trophies suppliers
- Assist with on-site rehearsals
- Support marketing team to promote winners on-site at exhibition/invite winners to speak if relevant
- Support marketing with copy, signage and content proofing
- Manage guest list customer service and table planning
**Content Producer and Marketing Support**
- Support wider team with research on leading industry speakers
- Support with any administrative talks e.g. upload of agenda topics and speakers to online conference platform
- Assist with collecting speaker bios. and photos
**Qualifications, Experience, & Skills**:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in events management within awards (ideal)/conferences/exhibitions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
