**Main purpose of the job**

SEO Officer is responsible to support the Head of Digital Communications in developing and overseeing marketing campaigns to promote our products and services. Responsibilities include tracking, reporting, and analysing website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns, monitoring and reporting website activity using Google Analytics, sending regular reports on user acquisition and behaviour. They are also responsible for updating our website content, improving search engine rankings (SEO) and working with the marketing team to ensure consistency of our websites and advertising across platforms they manage.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**
- Create and maintain Google Ads campaigns, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Track, and analyse website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns using Google Analytics and Google Ads with regular reporting.
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
- Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations, such as performing ongoing keyword expansion and optimization, improving page load time and developing a link building strategy.
- Research and monitor competitor advertising and SEO work, analysing results and replicating for our sites to improve rankings.
- Creation of visual ads for non-search result campaigns, working alongside creative and social media team to ensure consistency of brand and content across platforms.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Utilise programmes such as Ahrefs and Screaming Frog to analyse SEO rankings and website health.
- Manage our Google Business account, updating information when required.
- Manage all company websites, updating content regularly and oversee any projects undertaken by external companies regarding website upgrades.
- Regularly write blogs on the company websites to improve search engine keyword ranking, and ensure the sites appear active and genuine.
- Manage website pages in WordPress dashboard, using Yoast SEO to optimise content for search engine rankings.
- Use Salesforce CRM to track lead generation and conversion, generate reports on performance towards targets and draw comparisons against previous years.
- Any other ad hoc duties required by the marketing team.

**Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of using online marketing platforms including social media and Google Ads bidding.
- Knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics, and how the two can be used together.
- Knowledge of best SEO practices.
- Knowledge of UK Education System.
- Commitment to Global Study UK’s policy of equal opportunity and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and students of all cultures and background.

**Desirable Skills**:

- A basic understanding of coding is desirable.
- Previous use of Salesforce CRM is desirable.

- Bachelor's (preferred)
