**This is a 12-month (initially) CONTRACT opportunity to join a major Dubai Bank.**

Term: 12 months
Budget: USD95,000
Job location: Dubai, UAE
Experience requirement: 7-8 years
Project scope: Partnerships support
Language requirements: English fluency, Arabic is a strong plus

**Role**:

- Identifies key partners, builds relationship and secures differentiated offers and campaign constructs exclusive for Client specific engagements across UAE.
- Manages merchant campaign pipeline for Client, acts as single Point of Contact (“POC”) for merchant related discussions.
- Partners with Client internal teams including Product, Marketing, Sourcing, Procurement, and other teams to develop a plan to support Client’s strategic imperatives through merchant partnerships.
- Identify and develop opportunities with key merchants to increase Client share and volume, as well as developing new revenue streams.
- Develops approaches and solutions through data driven insights and quantifies the value of these opportunities.
- Proactively plays a high value-added role throughout the Client & merchant relationship along the engagement lifecycle, ensuring quality delivery.
- Develops a strong understanding of Client needs, market conditions and industry characteristics as they relate to merchant offerings.
- Responsible for all contractual, administrative, and operational issues for merchant management and merchant pipeline expansion for campaigns; and
- Responsible for reviews of the overall performance of the defined group of key merchants across issuer campaigns

**Qualifications/ expectations required**:

- Experience working with global and local brands.
- Extensive experience working with Online Retail (E-Commerce) industry.
- Payment industry experience and understanding of payment and information flows along value chain.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Track record of building and growing complex partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the UAE markets and having worked in the region for some time.
- Able to interrogate market and data to present recommendations on market, partner selection, campaign types.
- Project management skills (strong communication skills, plan and prioritize different activities, anticipate interdependencies);
- Ability to identify and solve project blockers.
- Results driven, entrepreneurial and a proactive self-starter.
- A high level of business acumen and thought leadership is required; and
- Good understanding and ability to navigate through Mastercard organization
