**Profitability and Sales Growth**:

- Maintain a profitable department with a monthly increase in customers and sales.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Prepare and present reports to management on current and future sales forecasts.
- Monitor performance and launch targeted sales campaigns, propose formulas/ incentives/ commissions/ bonus for sales & operations teams.

**Customer Satisfaction**:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement feedback systems and train staff for excellent service.

**Reporting and Forecasting**:

- Generate detailed reports for management decision-making, including sales, cost, and margin analyses.
- Provide budgets and forecasts for departmental performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Prepare budget proposals to conduct marketing campaigns & submit the proposals for GM approval.
- Verify customs account top up payment request prepared by the operations specialist & grant approval.
- Collect and analyze relevant data for comprehensive reporting.

**Team Leadership and Development**:

- Lead and educate team members, documenting lessons learned and best practices.
- Encourage innovation and provide suggestions for process improvements to management.
- Ensure staff understand and follow company culture and procedures.
- Implement ongoing training programs and conduct performance reviews.
- Hire or replace qualified staff. All staff reporting to the manager to be qualified & monitored and ensure outcomes & job descriptions are maintained/followed.

**Operational Efficiency**:

- Propose and maintain cost-saving initiatives with measurable results.
- Ensure all business transactions and staff adhere to legal and ethical standards.
- Review and control total costs, both direct and indirect, to maintain a healthy and profitable department.
- Maintain good relationship with customs officials & other government institutions.
- Conduct morning meetings with sales team to check on the scheduled client visits,
- Conduct weekly meetings with customer service executives/ Ops specialists/ collection & operations staff.
- Monitor errors/omissions of the team members and update HR. Issue warning letters if required.
- Ensure that all Environmental Health and Safety protocols are being followed by the team.
- Provide guidance for staff on problem solving - Custom clearance issues/ Operations related issues/ sales issues (mistakes in making quotations)

**Route and Service Expansion**:

- Identify and add new routes, countries, and services to enhance the company’s offerings.
- Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies
- Research markets to give leads to the sales/ operations teams on major projects inaugurating in the UAE
- Develop and implement plans for new routes, countries, and services.

**Staff Management**:

- Hire, replace, and manage qualified staff, ensuring continuous performance monitoring.
- Ensure all team members are trained and their professional development is supported.
- Review balance scorecards and conduct employee reviews, reporting findings to HR.
- Monitor staff performance, ensuring they meet job descriptions and outcomes.

**Innovation & Process Compliance**:

- Encourage idea generation and present proposals to management.
- Develop policies aligned with management’s vision and ensure staff compliance (Making sure staff understand & follow company culture).

**Compliance & Legal Standards Review**:

- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards through training and audits.
- Handle all contracts related to the department - Review terms and conditions of the contracts & ensure those conditions are favorable for the company.
- Ensure to have contracts with all service providers & on time renewal of contracts.

**Cost Control & Saving Initiatives**:

- Analyze operations for cost-saving opportunities and implement solutions.
- Regularly review and manage budgets to control direct and indirect costs.
- Ensure all purchases follow procurement procedures & quotation evaluations.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree with relevant professional certifications or Master's Degree.
- Minimum of 10 years in the same field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within the UAE or GCC countries.
- Demonstrated excellence in managing and supervising a team of at least 10 people.
- Has the ability to lead the team with strategic decision-making skills and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates mastery in core competencies and may have specialized expertise in certain areas.

Pay: From AED13,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Air Freight Logistics: 10 years (required)
- Management in UAE or GCC: 5 years (required)
