The Commercial Operations Lead GCC (COD) develops and orchestrates strategic organizational capabilities and leads GCC Commercial Operations team that includes Learning, Development & Agility, Data Insights, Sales Force Effectiveness and Commercial Strategy sub-teams.

The COD is responsible for creating data, learning and commercial strategy for the company and implement the way for its execution and implementation, through commercial and technological innovations and collaborations and ensures these capabilities are developed across the whole organization in GCC countries.

The COD is Leading the transformation of the company to become a digital and data driven organisation that will exceed customer and consumer expectations, and initiates use of digital and data platforms to increase effectiveness of MSD processes.

This position requires great understanding of the pharmaceutical market and the ”Know How” to navigate in the dynamic ecosystem, strong consumer and customer focus and extensive savviness in digital and data. It requires growth mindset, good understanding of how to make smarter commercial decisions using DnA (Data & Analytics), innovative thinking, strong influencing skills and high ability to lead change through disruption.

Main Responsibilities:

- Partnering with Global teams and Local Markets and assessing the current and future challenges of developing strategies and iterating our commercial framework
- Lead the LD&A, Data, SFE and Commercial Strategy teams to ensure the most progressive tools and approaches are leveraged into the development of our commercial strategies
- Enable capability building and implementation throughout the organization
- Launch the new capabilities of the L3 Commercial Excellence Framework across Human Health
- Leading the DnA transformation
- Leading the innovation arm and making sure the company is ahead of the curve.
- Lead the implementation of Agile methodology in the organization

Required Experience and Skills:

- Minimum of three years in leadership roles, with proven records for driving change and results
- Extensive experience in leading transformational initiatives
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Health Ecosystem Understanding
- Growth mindset, innovation and strategic thinking
Strong communicator & collaborator
- Experience in leading diverse teams in a matrix environment, strong influencing skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills (ability to navigate among many different stakeholders at various levels within corporate, work cross-functionally and cross-divisionally and lead teams to get work done); experience interfacing with colleagues in global functions
