**Process Analyst - Logistics Baggage and Cargo**

Contract Duration: 10 months

Job Purpose

support for CPL department to cover the increased workload and business requirements for process mapping support on various initiatives related to Baggage, Staging, Cargo and other Logistics processes etc.

We will expect you to work both individually using your own initiative, and as part of a team environment - collaborating with other members of the CPL team. Your work will influence existing infrastructure optimization as well as informing future master planning.

Applicants must have an ability to multi-task and manage deadlines independently, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills - visual, written and verbal, be inquisitive and demonstrate initiative in order to create exciting process improvements and facility concept designs. The applicant must have the ability to take creative and technical direction and feedback, and able to work with high attention to detail, consistency and accuracy.

Professional Qualifications/Regulatory/Certification Requirements:

- Diploma / Degree in Industrial Engineering/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent and above.
- Proficient in process mapping (PowerPoint, Visio or equivalent) and understanding complex material flow diagrams.
- Previous work experience in the field of Logistics, Manufacturing, Transportation, Maritime or Aviation is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand Architectural Drawings as well as knowledge of drafting facility layouts. Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD 2D or similar) and Simulation Tools (e.g. Flexsim or similar) would be beneficial.
- A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous, and team player with good organizational and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Skills, Tools and Systems Experience:

- High standards in the preparation & presentation of process maps and material flows in graphically appealing manner, MS Word and Powerpoint, Visio or other graphics/presentation tools
- Proficiency in 2D CAD design and 3D simulation modeling, Sketch-up
- Data analytics, MS Excel, PowerBI/Tableau/MySQL
- Arabic Language skills would be an advantage

Key Accountability: Process mapping

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to assisting the Senior Manager Logistics Baggage and Cargo and Head
- Logistics Capacity Planning with the following tasks:

- Map existing processes involving several stakeholders
- Observe processes on site, document and review existing process documents, transport routes as well as means of transport and storage, collect data and interview stakeholders to verify assumptions. Same applies to mapping existing IT systems, technology and data flow.
- Provide support to the team in proposing time, space and cost savings as well as realizing efficiency and sustainability gains. Help translating this into Idea Briefs and Business Cases.
- Ability to take onboard ideas from team members and translate these ideas into the generation of high-quality visual representations in both 2D and 3D in a range of output themes from rough sketches to detailed compositions as and where required.
- Ability to take AutoCAD and GIS files and enhance/further develop the visual quality of image
- Proficient to an intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint tools to assist the team in periodic administration and presentation of data
- Other duties as may reasonably be required or requested.
