The Kitchen Manager at MALAK AL TAWOUK performs a wide range of duties in the fast-moving kitchen. He/she oversees the daily full operations of establishment’s kitchen area for Back of the house staff and food preparation tasks to streamline cooking and meal presentation. Ensures the kitchen department runs smoothly and complies with safety regulations as per company operational standard.

TASKS & DUTIES
- Supervises the entire MAT kitchen operation and organize food orders.
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
- Controls and directs the food preparation process and any other relative activities.
- Ensures all areas of the kitchen, food preparation, and food storage area are clean and properly sanitized. This includes cleaning and sanitizing cooking equipment, floors, countertops and cutting boards, and maintaining all areas to health code standards.
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
- Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required.
- Reports all damaged or faulty equipment to the outlet manager.
- Monitored food waste and inventory levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Maintaining stock accuracy (quantity of food, shortage in food items).
- Food Safety.
- Building a ready qualified Kitchen team.
- Speed of work flow in the kitchen.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

**Education required**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Restaurant Management or Certification from Culinary School.

**Experience required**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- In-depth Knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to delegate tasks and avoid any staff shortage.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities.
- Knowledgeable in food safety and quality standards.
- Intensive experience in quick service restaurant business.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the kitchen staff
- High sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
