Purchase and Accountant Coordinator

Job Summary: The Purchase and Accountant Coordinator will be responsible for managing the company's procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing and expediting materials, goods, and services from various suppliers. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining financial records and preparing financial reports, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that are aligned with the company's objectives and goals.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases and supplier information.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, including operations, finance, and accounting, to ensure that purchasing and accounting activities align with overall company goals and objectives.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments related to purchasing and supply chain management, as well as accounting and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, as well as accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools, as well as accounting software and tools.
- Understanding of contract law and legal terms related to purchasing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: From AED2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
