The primary role of the Purchasing Coordinator is to support the purchasing and operational departments to:

- Source material samples and/or quotations whenever required and coordinate approvals from all stake holders
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors as per best practices to secure most favorable position for the organization
- Establish strong working relationship with existing vendors and subcontractors.
- Develop and onboard new vendors and subcontractors.
- Evaluate performance of vendors and subcontractors
- Source materials on time and on budget
- Ensure that all contractors and vendors are qualifies and approved for work.

Qualifications and experience criteria:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred (commerce, finance, supply chain, technical)
- Having full working knowledge of Incoterms
- Thorough knowledge of vendors and subcontractors for construction material
- 5 years’ experience in UAE market in dealing with all kind of vendors and subcontractors, and related supply chain functions
- Proven experience in cost savings
- Knowledge of subcontracts agreements and contractual conditions
- Team player
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong Excel skills required; strong computer skills and willingness to learn new software
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with attention to detail; positive attitude, and ability to work as a team member
- Having UAE driving license
