Executive Pastry Chef

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the pastry and bakery department, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and create new and innovative dessert and bakery menus that align with the overall culinary direction of the restaurant.
- Oversee the production of all baked goods, pastries, desserts, and confections.
- Ensure all products are prepared in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and costing to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Train, mentor, and develop a team of pastry chefs and bakers.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and other kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and harmonious kitchen environment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and techniques.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-end establishment.
- Exceptional culinary skills with a focus on pastry and bakery arts.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Creativity and innovation in dessert and bakery creation.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred
