**Manager for High-End Fine Dining Mexican Restaurant**

A diversified business conglomerate is looking for a highly experienced and efficient Restaurant Manager for it’s Food & Beverage sector ((high-end fine dining).

**Purpose**:
Managing operations of high-end fine dining restaurants of our organization and deliver an excellent guest experience. You will be required to set the standard, manage, train, and develop team members.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently managing daily restaurant operations
- Designing delicious and attractive menus and continuously making improvements.
- Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges.
- Following food and safety regulations.
- Proper control and management of inventories. Stock balance to be accurate. Minimum or zero wastage
- Works with chefs in the creation and planning of menus and daily specials to maximize sales and respond to customer demand.
- Evaluates and recommends improvements in support of established goals and objectives of the organization.
- Implements a work safety program to minimize work-related accidents.
- Building positive relationships with food and beverage vendors.
- Increases staff effectiveness by training, coaching, counseling, communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; integrating functional objectives.
- Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
- Assisting with events.
- Adhering to the restaurant budget.
- Enforcing restaurant policies, targets, and KPIs.
- Ensure harmony and respect among staff members.
- Hosts regular staff meetings to ensure communication between personnel and management.
- Keeps superiors/leadership informed of status of restaurant activities and submitting reports.
- Contributes to the organization’s effectiveness by offering information and opinion as a member of the management team.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information.
- Performs other duties as required by the superiors/management.

**Reporting to**:
**Location : United Arab Emirates**

**Qualification/Experience/Skills required**:
Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Food service or related field

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Manager of operations in high end fine dining restaurants/hotels in UAE. Must have managed minimum 5 restaurants. Must have total 7+ years of experience in managing high-end fine dining restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- In-depth knowledge of the food industry
- Excellent customer service, financial, planning, and budgetary skills

**Competency: Leadership, Problem Solving, communication, Coaching, Integrity, Passion and Excellence**

**IT Skills: MS Office and Strong working knowledge of related computer software preferably Oracle**

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
