Assistant Project Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Manage/Assist Project team on all Project management activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility and have the ability to work to deadlines.
- Actively manage all project reporting and records keeping.
- Co-Manage/Assist project lead on all construction, scheduling, commercial, procurement, risk, Health and safety management activities conducted by the team.
- Manage/Assist on all Procurement Activities including prequalification’s, tendering and evaluation.
- Actively lead/ Participate in Contracts management and Scope management.
- Handle tracking of Material and Equipment ordering & delivery status
- Review Progress Billings and reports by all project stakeholders.
- Review Change Orders in parallel with the Project commercial management.
- Prepare documents for uploading in project document controlling platforms and Manage all DC systems in association with Team assigned DC.
- Manage Close Out Documentation and O&M Manuals.
- Manage/ participate in all QA/QC procedures set forward by project lead.
- Supervise and update project logs, issue client reports.
- Make sure all suitable meeting minutes are captured.
- Manage/Work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to optimize solutions,
- Display excellent verbal, numerical and report writing skills,
- Exhibit experience of project procurement and differing routes available,
- Demonstrate a track record in delivering high quality services from inception to completion,
- Manage pre contract Scope including; reviewing technical specification, sections of BOQs, handle tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage,
- Handle post contract including being strong in construction management and progress tracking, contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare weekly reports, draft monthly reports and weekly dashboards.

**Professional Experience and Personal Skills Profile**
- 2 to 5 years of previous experience working in the Middle East.
- Experience in commercial office fitouts and retail fitouts.
- MCIOB/ PMP would be advantageous.
- Experience pre and post contract in project / program delivery teams.
