Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding **Head of MOE (whole school)**for Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing next Academic Year 2025 - 2026.
Muna British Academy is in the heart of the city of Abu Dhabi and was recently rated ‘Outstanding’ by ADEK - Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) Serving over 700 students from Nursery - Year 6 we follow the National Curriculum of England. The school a vibrant community.

**Responsibilities**:
- To provide professional leadership and management to the MOE department to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all students.
- Strategic direction and development of the department and leading and managing staff.
- To be an exemplar classroom teacher with the knowledge and skills to support and develop colleagues.
- To comply with our agreed policies.
- To recognise good practice and to identify areas for development and challenge underachievement.
- To communicate effectively to lead, manage and inspire others.
- To be focused on raising standards, school improvement (including areas beyond existing areas of responsibility) and be able to challenge underperformance and have difficult conversations.
- To be flexible, positive, and proactive.
- To be an exemplar classroom teacher, setting a standard to which others aspire to.
- To contribute to the strategic development and smooth day to day running of the school.
- To manage the work of the MOE team. This includes
- monitoring standards and pupil progress, including preparation for and action from year group progress meetings and data analysis, liaising with families, feeding into and from SLT meetings, supporting colleagues in developing their classroom practice, leading new initiatives to improve standards, working alongside and supporting the shadow year group leader.
- To identify development areas of MOE staff and propose and deliver staff trainings as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers with regards to student’s achievements and well-being using school systems/processes as appropriate.
- To take responsibility for the organisation and security of resource, gr books, laptops, iPads etc.
- Take initiative of own professional development to secure high quality teaching and for successful execution of roles and responsibilities.
- To participate in the Aldar Academies performance management cycle.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education (specializing in Arabic Language & Islamic Studies) with a post qualification teaching certification is essential. Master’s degree is desirable.
**Minimum Experience**:A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
