Shipping Manager- Logistics

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of shipping operations, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments.
- Manage and optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train shipping staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor shipping performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and warehousing, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and performance metrics.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any shipping-related issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and drive innovation.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping management or a similar role, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, regulations, and industry practices.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

**Salary**: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
