voco Dubai Palm The Palm is conveniently located on the trunk of the manmade island while being part of the newly launched “Palm West Beach”, a trendy and vibrant spot with an array of exceptional dining concepts.

**Your day to day**

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible to manage the engineering/maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure the safety and comfort of hotel guests and employees and to ensure compliance with all Brand and state, and/or local regulatory and inspection requirements.
- Develop strategic plan by studying technological and financial opportunities, presenting assumptions and recommending objectives.
- Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community and employees and by enforcing ethical business practices.
- Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
- Manage all rehabilitation, expansion and special projects.
- Maintain the entire hotel facilities, including physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees’ Code of Ethics and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- Maintain effective Energy Cost Conservation and Preventive Maintenance programs, conducting special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel.
