Business Development Associate

- Identify potential clients, markets, and sectors for business expansion, monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities, collaborating with sales and marketing teams on targeted outreach campaigns.
- Conduct introductory meetings with potential clients, presenting tailored proposals and solutions to understand their needs and qualify opportunities.
- Follow up on marketing created leads to progress them through the sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Understand marketing campaigns and strategy to integrate this in all outreach and follow up activity
- Support other business development initiatives and projects as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence others.
- Strong networking abilities, confidently initiating and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
- Strategic and creative thinking to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions for client needs.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive intelligence for informed business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting strategies and approaches as needed for success.
