Essential Functions/ Responsibility Statements:

  • Execute trading orders and implement trading strategies in the CMBS market.
  • Analyze market data and trends to identify trading opportunities and inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with research, sales, and other trading desks to develop and execute client-focused trading strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risk exposures, including market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients and counterparties to facilitate trading activities.
  • Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience, in F inance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Work Experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in CMBS trading, preferably within a financial institution or investment bank.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of fixed income markets, securitization, and financial modeling is preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 63/66 licenses are a plus.
