Business Manager – Smart Mobility

The Business Manager—Smart Mobility is responsible for managing both existing and establishing new relationships with fleet customers in the UAE, ensuring that business/commercial targets are met, fleet management solutions and customer agreements are in place, and all the mutually set sales goals are being achieved and tracked through the pipeline.
Key Accountability Areas- Establish and maintain relationships with Top 20 UAE Fleet customers, offering a value-added (ROI) and cost-focused service whilst ensuring pricing parameters are met.
- Responsible for delivering the objectives set within the strategic commercial plan for Smart Mobility growth for the defined target accounts.
- Development and reporting of Key account plans through the Sales Pipeline.
- Maintaining and tracking all customers through the Sales Pipeline via CRM and reporting on a weekly basis.
- Establishes strategic, productive and professional relationships with key decision-makers in assigned customer accounts in close cooperation with the local partner(s).
- Keeps up to date with industry and market trends across the assigned regions, markets, partners, and key accounts. Understands where the global and regional opportunity exists within each market.
- Prepares monthly key account and sales (Bridge, EVCAN, EVFit, Connectyre) pipeline updates, ensuring the partner has all the tools to achieve/exceed the agreed target. This business plan will be an integral part of the Admiral group business plan.
- Maintains and enhances ecosystem partner relationships to identify new opportunities for cross-selling of associated ecosystem services, e.g. leasing.
- Act as a Business ambassador of the company and fleet solutions expert to all the partners, develop new business to increase volume and revenue growth and maintain a high level of partnership satisfaction.
- Play an integral part in generating group sales that will turn into long-term business.
- Support the ecosystem partners in all their marketing needs and ensure all resources are provided in promotion of the brand to do maximum business possible.
- Prepares the annual smart mobility business budgets per product/market/partner, together with the General Manager.
- Ensures the development and performance of the Business Development team to ensure current and future operational needs of the customer are dealt with effectively.
- With GoMetro Partner conducts periodic category & price point analysis (ROI) in order to identify opportunities to maximise profitability by managing cost prices.
- Resolves sales issues, customer complaints, manage conflicts, pricing and profitability ratio, able to read financial statements, credit facility & agreements, negotiating of payment terms letter of credits etc.
- Drive account performance by VEM (Value Engagement Methodology), develop and build trusted relationships, focused on co-creating long-term value for customers.
- Background in automotive, ideally EV.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability in price/terms management and negotiation.
- In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.
- Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories.
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
- Clean UAE drivers license.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in engineering, physics, or another technical discipline.
- Fluent English language skills are a must, Arabic is desirable.
- 8-10 years experience in fleet management / commercial automotive.
- Regional experience of Automotive and or electric cars, buses, vans (retail or wholesale).
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences.
