Today, we are recruiting for a Document Controller to join our team in UAE. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

1. Responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient preparation and management of documents.
2. Control the numbering, sorting, filing, storing, and retrieving of electronic and hard copy documents produced by technical teams, projects, or departments.
3. Create and manage document hierarchy and process systems.
4. Take charge of all document identification, classification, and filing.
5. Frequently conduct document audits confirming they are current and accurately reflect recorded evidence.
6. Assist with communication during external audits.
7. Adjust to company-enforced specifications and document control procedures.
8. Train employees in the company's-controlled document processes to ensure correct handling of documents from the ground up.
9. Oversee the document through its entire lifecycle (inception to archival).
10. Check and edit incoming documents and prepare for distribution.
11. Create document filing and organizing systems that are both effective and efficient.
12. Ensure proper organization and security of documents (paper and electronic).
13. Log document requests and help retrieve documents as needed for employees.
14. Make available, notify, and distribute documents to relevant recipients.
15. Confirm delivery of documents to proper personnel.
16. Collaborate and communicate with managers and project leaders.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Administration or any related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Documents Management, preferably within Railway projects.
3. Proficient in SharePoint, Project Wise, Aconex and / or other document management software and web-based tools.
4. Highly skilled in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Adobe and PDF Exchange Editor.
5. Detail-oriented and meticulous work ethic.
6. Extremely organized and efficient.
7. Proven skill for creating and implementing controlled document processes.
8. Strong oral and written communication skills.
9. Fluency in both written and spoken English.
10. Proclivity for catching errors and enacting appropriate changes.
11. Excellent analytical ability.
