We are seeking a proactive, confident and customer-focused Guest Advisor to provide excellent customer service to hotel guests in addition to engaging and selling tours of UAE attractions. The role is focused on welcoming guests, assisting with hotel check-in when required, answering guest queries, and ensuring a positive overall experience.
The ideal candidate for the Guest Advisor role is a highly motivated, proactive person, with a friendly and approachable attitude. They will be fluent in English and Czech with a proven track record in guest services within the tourism/ hospitality industry. They will have a persuasive personality and the ability to upsell excursions and tour packages in a way that feels helpful rather than pushy.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in assigned office areas, ensuring a comfortable and professional work environment for employees and visitors.
Office Area Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors regularly.
- Dust and wipe down desks, chairs, tables, and other office furniture.
- Clean and polish glass doors, windows, and office partitions.
- Maintain cleanliness of meeting rooms, reception areas, and workstations.
- Empty trash bins and disposal of waste properly following company guidelines.
- Keep pantry and lounge areas clean, ensuring tables, chairs, and countertops are sanitized.
- Clean and maintain coffee machines, microwaves, and refrigerators as required.
- Monitor and restock pantry essentials (tea, coffee, sugar, disposable cups, utensils, etc.).
- Ensure proper organization of kitchen supplies and appliances.
- Keep the hallways clean and clutter-free.
- Wipe down walls and surfaces to maintain a neat appearance.
- Ensure proper placement of trash bins and empty them regularly.
- Report on any maintenance issues, such as lighting or flooring problems, to the administration.
- Check and request replenishment of cleaning supplies, pantry essentials, and other necessary items.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning tools and report any needed replacements.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning after office meetings or events.
- Follow health and safety guidelines while handling cleaning materials and equipment.
- Perform any other housekeeping-related tasks assigned by the reporting line manager.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent Diploma holders preferred. No degree required.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in maintaining cleanliness and organization in a professional setting is preferred but not required.
- Experience in office, hospitality, or facility upkeep is beneficial.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety guidelines is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces (floors, furniture, glass, etc.).
- Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
- Understanding of proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within scheduled time frames.
- Prioritize daily tasks and maintain productivity without direct supervision.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas.
- Identify areas that require extra cleaning or special attention.
- Follow workplace safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain hygiene standards in pantry, employee lounges, and shared spaces.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light objects for extended periods.
- Capable of working in different environments and adapting to new cleaning protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members and reporting line manager.
- Communicate effectively to report issues or request supplies when needed.
