Job brief

Weare looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to overseeand administer the employees perfect rewards and smart benefits.You will assess personnel needs and draft targeted programs thatwill increase performance organizational trust andsatisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Define a fair equitable and competitive totalcompensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to ourcompany’s strategy and business goals
  • Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line withthe work culture and organizational objectives
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance withcurrent legislation (pay equity human rights etc)
  • Use various methods and techniques and make databaseddecisions on direct financial indirect financial and nonfinancialcompensations
  • Assess employees needs byconducting organizational psychology surveys to find out whatmotivates and engages employees
  • Prepare jobdescriptions job analysis job evaluations and jobclassifications
  • Participate in salary andlabor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates andbenefits
  • Differentiate pay systems to investin the segments of the workforce that contribute the mostvalue
  • Deploy effective communicationstrategies and success metrics
  • Conduct ongoingresearch into emerging trends issues and best practices
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a Compensation and BenefitsSpecialist
  • Prior experience in HR practicesand compensation cycle management
  • Workingknowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Previous experience with organizational psychology andlabor market surveys
  • Adequate knowledge ofcurrent labor rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives andbenefits
  • Extensive knowledge of HRIS and MSOffice
  • Strong quantitative and analyticalskills
  • BS degree in human resources businessadministration or finance
