RESPONSIBILITIES:

•To understand the nature of the competitive market, to research andcompile intelligence on selected markets and accounts so us tounderstand the buying behavior of customers and the criteria forhotel selection.

• To be extremely well versedon the facilities and benefits of Rosewood Abu Dhabi as they applyto individual market segments. To tailor sales presentation basedon a close understanding of customer preferences and corporatevariables that influence the clientpriorities.

• To determine the key players in acorporate account and to identify the role that each member playsin the purchasing process and to adopt an account strategy thatmaximizes the potential revenue conversion for Rosewood AbuDhabi.

• To be fully conversant with allbusiness units within the hotel, and be comfortable in presentingthe core unique selling propositions for eachunit.

• To plan sales call activity to optimizerevenue conversion based on key selling priorities determined andagreed with the Director of Sales.

• Presentindividual sales strategy to MD as part of quarterly personalbusiness plan.

• To attend tradeshow, salesroadshows, sales training, and sales events in accordance withRosewood Abu Dhabi Sales and Marketing plan and based on theDirection of the Director of Sales andMarketing.

• To act as a positive role model andambassador of Rosewood Abu Dhabi and Rosewood Hotels and Resorts inkeeping with company standards andexpectations.

• To adhere to grooming standardsas determined by the Director of Sales andMarketing.

• To capture timely and relevantcustomer data in appropriate Sales databases (Delphi,) and toensure data integrity is in accordance with Rosewood Abu Dhabi datacapture standards.

• To attend and participatein regular sales meetings to update colleagues and management onthe current status of sales account activity.

•To present weekly and monthly sales account reports to the Directorof Sales and Marketing that accurately reflects sales accountmanagement and the performance of designatedaccounts.

• To contribute to the Sales andMarketing Plan by supplying relevant data on market conditions,changes in account dynamics, new business development and salesretention.

• To share important account updateswith members of the hotel team including other departments so thatkey personnel have important feedback on the current status ofaccounts.

• All other duties relevant to thesuccessful management of key accounts.

Desired candidate profile


• Education: Preferred to have studied to undergraduate level.

• Experience: Solid experiencein luxury hotel sector with an understanding of key markets, strongnetwork of appropriate social/business connections within the keymarkets that they will be operating.

• GeneralSkills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention todetail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; bea clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using goodjudgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand aguest's service needs; work cohesively with co-workers aspart of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintainconfidentiality of guest information and pertinent hoteldata.

• Language: Required to speak, read andwrite English, with fluency in other languagespreferred.

• Physical Requirements: Must be ableto exert physical effort, endure various physical movementsthroughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary attimes throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate withguests and co-workers to their understanding.

•Licenses & Certifications: Must have a clean drivinglicense, must be available to travel within the GCCmarket.
