JobOverview:

We are seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Mechanical Sales Engineer to join ourgrowing sales team. As a Mechanical Sales Engineer you will beresponsible for promoting and selling our fire fighting equipmentto potential clients developing new business opportunities andmaintaining relationships with existing customers. The idealcandidate will have a strong technical background in mechanicalengineering and a proven track record insales.

KeyResponsibilities:

Identify anddevelop new sales opportunities through market research networkingand lead generation.
Build and maintain relationshipswith key decisionmakers in target industries.
Conductproduct presentations and demonstrations to potentialclients.
Understand customer requirements and recommendappropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.
Prepare and submit sales proposals and quotations in a timelymanner.
Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve salestargets.
Monitor market trends competitors and customerfeedback to provide insights for product development and salesstrategies.
Provide technical support and assistance tocustomers as needed.
Collaborate with the sales team todevelop and implement sales strategies andinitiatives.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield.
Proven experience in sales preferably in the firefighting equipment industry.
Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
Strong technical knowledge andunderstanding of mechanical systems.
Ability to build andmaintain relationships with customers.
Resultsdriven witha proven track record in meeting and exceeding salestargets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRMsoftware.
Willingness to travel for sales meetings andevents as needed.
Valid drivers license and clean drivingrecord.
Knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations isaplus.
