Industry Sales Manager

As an Industry Sales Manager, youwill be responsible for managing an industry-specific portfolio ofadvertising clients, ensuring revenue growth. Your key focus willbe on enhancing relationships with key planners, buyers, and seniorleads within the media agencies, creating opportunities for ourlong-term existing clients, whilst winning new advertisers for bothdubizzle and Bayut.
In this role,you will:
- Develop andsuccessfully execute a comprehensive sales plan to meet or exceedgrowth and revenue goals for yourindustry;
- Identify opportunities in the marketby creating and targeting a list of key potential clients, matchingour products to the client'sneeds;
- Understand the media agency landscapeand who the decision makers are, building strong reasoning for whythey should advertise on dubizzle/Bayut.;
- Drivehigh levels of sales activity to build a strong pipeline andportfolio of clients across all stages of the sales cycle (source,pitch, negotiate, convert, onboard andrebook);
- Develop and maintain a high level ofproduct knowledge on both the dubizzle and Bayut advertisingproducts but also market trends, becoming a market expert in yourfield;
- Consistently deliver for youradvertisers by creating well-structured and thorough mediaplans/proposal slides which fit the client'sneeds;
- Actively manage each campaign, improveperformance where possible and analyse performance, guiding theclient on the next steps;
- Provide solidweekly/monthly revenue forecasts to management which areaccurate
Requirements
- Marketing or Advertising relatedhigher qualifications preferred
- Minimum 4 yearsin an advertising sales position, with 2 years in onlinemedia;
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience inreal estate;
- Experience in Salesforce/Google AdManager is a plus
- Deep understanding of digitaladvertising preferred (SEM, PPC, Banner ads, Programmaticadvertising)
- Proficient in Microsft PowerPoint& Excel, Google Slides &sheetsneeded;
- Strong communication and negotiationskills
- Driven individual who will go above andbeyond.
- A high level of sales activity isexpected so a high work rate is needed

- Industry-SpecificStrategy: Develop and execute sales strategiestailored to the specific needs of the industry or vertical you aremanaging (e.g., healthcare, finance, technology,manufacturing).
- MarketResearch: Conduct thorough market research tounderstand the unique trends, challenges, and opportunities withinthe industry. Stay updated on industry regulations, innovations,and emerging trends.
- TargetSetting: Set sales targets and KPIs for the salesteam, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives whileconsidering the specific dynamics of theindustry.
2. TeamManagement andLeadership
- TeamLeadership: Lead and manage a team of salesprofessionals, providing guidance, training, and performanceevaluations to help team members achieve theirtargets.
- SalesCoaching: Mentor and coach sales representatives,helping them navigate challenges, improve their sales skills, andgrow in theircareers.
- Recruitment andOnboarding: Hire and onboard new sales professionalswho are well-suited to the industry and company culture, ensuringthey are properly trained in industry-specific sales strategies andtools.
3. ClientRelationshipManagement
- KeyAccount Management: Develop and maintain strongrelationships with key clients within the industry. Work closelywith these clients to understand their needs, propose tailoredsolutions, and ensure customersatisfaction.
- Negotiations andContracts: Lead high-stakes negotiations with largeaccounts, ensuring favorable terms and building long-termrelationships.
- CustomerRetention: Work on strategies for customerretention, ensuring that clients continue to use thecompany's products or services. This could involvecross-selling, upselling, or renewingcontracts.
4. SalesPipeline andForecasting
- SalesForecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts basedon industry trends, historical performance, and the currentpipeline of leads.
- LeadGeneration: Oversee lead generation efforts specificto the industry, ensuring that the sales team has a consistent flowof qualified leads.
- CRMManagement: Ensure that all sales activities, clientinteractions, and opportunities are properly tracked in thecompany's CRM system, maintaining up-to-date records forreporting and analysis.
5.Collaboration AcrossTeams
- Collaborationwith Marketing: Work closely with the marketing teamto develop industry-targeted campaigns, content, and messaging.Ensure that the sales team has the right materials to convert leadsinto customers.
- ProductFeedback: Provide valuable feedback to the productdevelopment team regarding customer pain points, feature requests,and industry-specific needs to help guide productimprovements.
- Cross-DepartmentCollaboration: Collaborate with other departmentslike customer service, finance, and operations to ensure a smoothexperience for customers and align on salesinitiatives.
6.Performance Monitoring andReporting
- SalesMetrics: Monitor and track sales performance throughvarious metrics (e.g., revenue growth, lead conversion rate, clientsatisfaction). Regularly assess the performance of the sales teamand make adjustments asnecessary.
- Reporting to SeniorManagement: Prepare regular reports andpresentations for senior leadership, highlighting salesperformance, market insights, and any issues or opportunities inthe industry.
- BudgetManagement: Oversee the sales budget for theindustry vertical, ensuring that resources are allocatedeffectively to meet sales goals.
