Associate Marketing Manager

As the Associate Directorof Flights Marketing, you will be in charge of guiding the growthand development of Agoda’s Flights business.Collaborating closely with executive leadership, product teams, anddata analysts, you will explore new growth opportunities, designand analyze marketing experiments, and develop strategic frameworksto optimize operations. You will also help balance the P&Lto ensure that we achieve our yearly businessobjectives
In this Role,You’ll Get to:
- Lead strategic direction and visionfor Flights Marketing initiatives to drive businessgrowth
- Run competitive analysis and extractactionable insights to guide marketingstrategies
- Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to develop investment plans for markets andchannels
- Oversee and scale marketinginitiatives, including pricing, metasearch, PPC and digitalads
- Set up operational processes to monitorbusiness-critical success metrics and put in place the right team,structure and frameworks required to succeed
What You’llNeed to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in aquantitative field; MBA or advanced degreepreferred
- 6+ years in management consulting,investment banking, private equity, strategy/business operationsideally in a growing tech company with a globalfootprint
- Strong analytical mindset, especiallywith respect to experimental design andmeasurement
- Strategic thinking and planning,hands-on mentality
- Excellent skills inpresenting and analyzing data and creating actionablereports
- Excellent interpersonal skills anddemonstrated ability to report and persuade different levels,including senior management

- Experience in the travel sector,specifically flights
- Proficiency in dataanalysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python,Tableau)
- Passion for innovation and a hands-onapproach to challenges

Marketing StrategyDevelopment:
- FlightPromotions and Campaigns: Develop and executemarketing strategies and campaigns that promote flight routes,special offers, and seasonal promotions to target customers. Thisincludes creating compelling messaging to boost ticket sales andincrease brand awareness.
- TargetAudience Identification: Identify and segment thetarget audience based on factors like demographics, travelbehavior, and preferences (e.g., business travelers, familyvacations, luxury travelers,etc.).
- BrandPositioning: Ensure that the airline’sflight services are effectively positioned in the market todifferentiate the brand from competitors and resonate withconsumers'needs.
CampaignManagement andExecution:
- IntegratedMarketing Campaigns: Lead the development andexecution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that may includedigital marketing (social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing),traditional advertising (TV, print, radio), and partnerships (e.g.,with travel agencies, hotels,etc.).
- ContentDevelopment: Oversee the creation of engagingcontent such as advertisements, social media posts, emailnewsletters, blogs, and video campaigns designed to attract andengage travelers.
- Seasonal andPromotional Offers: Plan and manage promotionalcampaigns around key travel seasons, holidays, or new routelaunches to drive customer interest andbookings.
Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:
- Salesand Revenue Teams: Work closely with the sales andrevenue management teams to align marketing campaigns with pricingstrategies and ensure the flight offerings are marketed effectivelybased on customerdemand.
- CustomerExperience: Collaborate with the customer experienceteams to ensure that marketing messages align with thebrand’s value proposition and the overall travelexperience for customers.
- ProductDevelopment: Work with the product team to gatherinsights about new flight services, routes, or travel packages anddevelop marketing strategies to promote theseofferings.
- Agency and VendorRelationships: Manage relationships with externalagencies, travel vendors, and media partners to optimize campaignexecution and expandreach.
DataAnalysis andReporting:
- CampaignPerformance: Track and analyze the performance ofmarketing campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) likeconversion rates, return on investment (ROI), customer acquisitioncost (CAC), and overall salesfigures.
- CustomerInsights: Use data analytics to understand customerbehavior, preferences, and travel patterns, adjusting marketingstrategies based on theseinsights.
- MarketResearch: Conduct market research and competitiveanalysis to identify emerging trends in the airline industry,customer preferences, and competitor marketingtactics.
- BudgetManagement: Manage the marketing budget for flightcampaigns, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maximizingROI.
BrandManagement andPositioning:
- ConsistentBranding: Ensure that all marketing materials arealigned with the airline’s brand voice, values, andvisual identity to build a consistent brand experience across allchannels.
- CustomerEngagement: Build and maintain long-term customerloyalty through targeted marketing campaigns and personalizedtravelexperiences.
Leadershipand TeamManagement:
- TeamLeadership: Lead and manage a team of marketingprofessionals, providing guidance and mentorship to drive teamperformance and careerdevelopment.
- Collaboration andCommunication: Foster strong communication andcollaboration within the marketing team and with other departmentsacross the organization to ensure alignment on goals andobjectives.
