Roles and responsibilities

As a Telesales Executive, you will bea driven sales professional who excel in telephonic sales and areconsistently able to close deals. You will be responsible to buildand maintain large portfolios for many organisations whileover-achieving sales targets.

Inthis role, youwill:

  • Drive the entiresales cycle from prospecting to closingsales
  • Prospecting customers using varioussources from cold, warm, and hot leads
  • Qualifyprospects against product, service, and company'srequirements.
  • Consult with prospects aboutbusiness challenges and requirements, as well as the range ofproposed packages that would suit theirneeds
  • Draft and deliver proposals via emailwhile maintaining proper businessetiquette
  • Keep detailed notes on prospects onour CRM (Salesforce)
  • Provide forecasts on mostlikely sales revenues on a weekly and monthlybasis
  • Provide feedback to sales management onways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve companybranding and reputation
  • Be a positiverepresentative of the company and its brand in themarketplace
  • Conduct all sales activities withthe highest degree of professionalism andintegrity

Requirements

  • High school/ Secondaryschool
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a similarrole
  • Familiar with CRMs' (Salesforce aplus)
  • Persuasive with strong communicationskills to close deals
  • Tactful, intelligent, andimprovising skills to handle client's objections in anyway.
  • Maintain a high number of daily calls anddaily closures
  • Aggressive follow up skills toensure that deadlines are met
  • Strongnegotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcome out of allsales interactions
  • Bi-lingual is aplus
  • Competitive attitude with a hunger toalways be on top
  • Result orientated with problemsolving skills to resolve challenges through creative and flexibleoptions in line with the company's overalltargets

1. Outbound Calling and LeadGeneration

  • Prospecting:Identify potential customers by researching and obtaining contactinformation for leads via databases, CRM systems, or purchasinglists.
  • ColdCalling: Make cold calls to new prospects tointroduce products or services and assess their interest in a salesoffer.
  • LeadQualification: Qualify leads to determine whetherthey are potential buyers based on their needs, budget, anddecision-making timeline.

2.Sales Presentation andPitching

  • Product/ServicePresentation: Provide potential customers withinformation about products or services, highlighting theirfeatures, benefits, and valuepropositions.
  • Customizing SalesPitches: Tailor your pitch to meet the specificneeds and interests of each potential customer, emphasizing how theproduct or service can solve their problem or improve theirsituation.

3. HandlingInquiries andObjections

  • AddressingQuestions: Respond to customer questions andconcerns about the product, price, or service terms in a clear andprofessional manner.
  • OvercomingObjections: Handle objections effectively byoffering solutions, alternative offers, or clarifications to ensurethe prospect feels comfortable and confident in theirdecision.

4. SalesClosing

  • ClosingDeals: Once the customer shows interest, worktowards closing the sale by encouraging commitment to purchase orschedule a follow-upmeeting.
  • Negotiation:In some cases, negotiate terms, pricing, or additional services tofinalize a deal that is satisfactory to both the company and theclient.
  • Follow-Up:After initial contact, follow up with leads who may be hesitant orundecided, encouraging them to move forward with thepurchase.

5. CustomerRelationshipManagement

  • BuildingRelationships: Establish and maintain relationshipswith customers by providing exceptional service, respondingpromptly to their needs, and maintaining regularcommunication.
  • CustomerRetention: Encourage repeat business and fostercustomer loyalty by identifying opportunities for upselling orcross-selling additional products orservices.
  • CRMSoftware: Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM)tools to log customer interactions, track sales progress, andfollow up on leads efficiently.

6.Performance Tracking andReporting

  • SalesTargets: Work towards achieving monthly, quarterly,or annual sales targets, often with commission-based incentivesbased onperformance.
  • Reporting:Provide regular updates to management on sales activities,conversions, and progress towardgoals.
  • RecordKeeping: Maintain detailed records of customerinteractions, including calls made, feedback received, and salesoutcomes.

7. ContinuousLearning andImprovement

  • ProductKnowledge: Continuously improve your knowledge ofthe products or services you are selling, staying informed of anyupdates, promotions, or changes that can be communicated topotential customers.
  • SalesTraining: Participate in ongoing sales training toimprove sales techniques, objection handling, and communicationskills.
  • MarketTrends: Stay updated on industry trends andcompetitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge in your salesapproach.
