Talent Culture Coordinator

Responsible for monitoring,evaluating and documenting Rosewoods Abu Dhabi training activities.Assist Talent Development Executive in ensuring that all trainingsand development standards are met. Work with supervisors andmanagers to create schedule for training materials, producingtraining document drafts, making backups and checking trainingmaterials.
RESPONSIBILITES:
•Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with all Rosewoodpolicies, service procedures and standards.
•Ensures that standards are maintained at a superior level on adaily basis.
• Maintains complete knowledge ofcorrect maintenance and use of equipment. Uses equipment only asintended.
• Anticipates associates'needs, responds promptly and acknowledges all associates, howeverbusy and whatever time of day. Responds to all associates requestson a timely manner.
• Greets all individualsarriving at office and assists with their needs. Maintainspositives relations at all times. Answers telephone with positivemanner.
• Monitors and maintains cleanliness,sanitation and organization of assigned workareas.
• Maintains knowledge of all hotelservices/features and hours of operation.
•Performs filing, data entry, coordination and logisticalrequirements of the training department.
•Prepares lists of participants' attendance on the trainingprograms and update database of associates who have been trainedalready.
• Organizes training venues of thetraining programs and ensures the availability of the necessarytools and equipment.
• Coordinates and requestsmeals / refreshments for participants during the training programwhen applicable.
• Maintains accurate records ofparticipants in each training sessions.
•Ensures the Training Department is well organized and that theOasys is up to date with all training data. Make sure the Trainingroom is clean and tidy at all times.
• Whenapplicable, prepares and prints certificates for trainees andensures proper distribution and delivery to theparticipants.
• Ensures proper maintenance andorderliness of the training room, including proper arrangement ofthe training stock regularly.
• Ensuresavailability of supplies and tools necessary for the trainingsection, such as pens, papers.
• Make sure thatstocks / materials for trainings are up to date at all times. RaisePO where required.
• Assists and supervises theTraining and Talent & Culture Administrative Assistant aswell as its' tasks when applicable.
•Ensures a smooth onboarding process for all associates with aproper three days' Discovery inclusive of a visit in AbuDhabi (in addition to the Grand Mosque).
•Follows-up training for new associates on the job during the firstthree months.
• Follows-up booking for newassociates and ensures to follow the routine procedures for newassociates (Rosewood Reception, Rosewood Responsibilitiestraining).
• In coordination with the TalentDevelopment Executive & Talent & Culture Manager,in charge of the 90 days'celebration.
• Ensures that the Daily Reviewsare well conducted in all departments and updates the process /form where required. Makes sure everyone is aware of Rosewood Corevalues & Principles and are inspired by its'philosophy.
• Support the training for andcontinued use of Rosewood Resources tool
•Ensures accuracy in "On the Job"Trainings' delivery.
• With theL&D Manager, in charge of the Rosewood Standard Specialists/ all Hotel's Trainers.
• Whenrequired and as instructed, conducts monthly meetings with theTrainers and follows up on projects linked to Hotel'sTrainers.
In charge of thefollow up and action plans in regards to LQA and Rosewood Brandstandards.
• Able to analyze and use all datasuch as Trust You, TripAdvisor, Mystery Chopper & LQAaudits, AES, Appraisals to adapt the training needs and extractclear data / graph to present to HRD.
• Help theL&D Manager to conduct training needs analyses, to developand implement departmental and individual training plans andmeasure success.
• Conducts regular LQA andRosewood Brand Standards spot checks within the hotel, in alloperational departments. Develops role plays / trainings, whenapplicable, to keep a high LQA/Brand score inRWABU.
• Assists Talent Development Executivefor the HyFlyer Program as well as the MT Program in thehotel.
• When required and as instructed, makessure all Interns are properly integrated in their department andare in charge of a project.
• Under the guidanceof the Talent Development Executive and Asst. Director of Talent& Culture, in charge of the Cross-training program in theHotel.
• Assists Talent Development Executive infacilitating and developing programs ifrequired.
• If and when applicable, with thehelp of the L&D Manager, Asst. HRD and / or HRD,manages/organizes/facilitates/designs trainings and developmentsnew programs.
• Facilitate RHR mandated trainingprograms when instructed.
• Develops with the TDExecutive and distributes monthly training calendar. Under thesupervision of the TD Executive, plans yearly training calendarbased on Training needs analysis.
• Has apro-active approach and constantly improves processes / hoteloperation. Presents regularly new ideas to L&D Manager,Asst. Director of Talent & Culture and/or Director ofTalent & Culture.
• Stays alert inregards to city happenings and suggests, regularly, team buildingactivities / outside trainings.
• Develops andensures utilization of MyCommunity. Posts on social media such asYammer platform, MyCommunity, LinkedIn as requested and whereneeded.
• Markets and maintains the E-Center andComputer Lab.
• Assists the T&C Team andTD Executive in the organization and logistic of the Leaders Forum,General Sessions as well as all big events launched by T&CDepartment.
• In addition to TD Executive,provides support to Talent & Culture Manager and AssistantDirector of Talent & Culture in different departmentalprojects when required.
• Assists in theorganization of associates' engagement activities,department campaigns and events. Prepares flyers, posters andvideos for such events where required.
•Involves in many Talent & Culture / Associates'welfare activities.
• Assists in theAssociates' Accommodation when required and as instructedby the Asst. Director of Talent & Culture and / orAssistant Accommodation Manager.
• Raisesimmediately any issue to Asst. Director Talent & Cultureand/or Director of Talent & Culture. Plays the role ofprivilege interlocutor between the associates and the ExecutiveTeam / T&C Department.
• All otherduties as required and directed by the Talent DevelopmentExecutive, the Talent & Culture Manager, the AssistantDirector of T&C and/or the Director ofT&C.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience: Minimum one year as a hospitality Trainer and / oradministrative assistant within the Training Department in a LuxuryHotel environment. Previous operational experience alsodesirable.
• Education: Bachelor'sdegree in hospitality, hotel management, Human Resources or arelevant field of work or an equivalent combination of educationand work-related experience.
• General Skills:Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail,speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clearthinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment;follow directions thoroughly; understand a associate'sneeds; work cohesively with associates as part of a team; work withminimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest informationand pertinent hotel data.
• Technical Skills:Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with advancedPowerPoint knowledge. Excellent public speaking and presentationskills. Creative and graphic design ability for presentationdevelopment and enhancement.
• Language:Required to speak, read and write English perfectly. Fluency inother languages preferred.
