  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the project site to ensure smooth execution of Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.
  • Ensure work is being completed according to the projects timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other site personnel to ensure work is performed effectively and safely.
  • Site Coordination and Supervision:
    • Coordinate and collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to integrate MEP systems into construction work.
    • Provide technical guidance and resolve issues arising during the construction phase.
    • Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of work, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Design and Planning Implementation:
    • Review and implement the design plans, ensuring that construction works follow the approved designs, specifications, and local regulations.
    • Assist in interpreting project plans, construction schedules, and site layouts.
    • Communicate any changes to the design or scope of work to the project manager and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance and Safety:
    • Ensure all works on-site adhere to established quality standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Identify potential risks and implement corrective actions or adjustments to prevent project delays or safety violations.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, site diaries, and daily reports.
    • Prepare and submit weekly reports to the project manager and senior engineers regarding the status of the work, any challenges, and upcoming activities.
  • Client and Stakeholder Interaction:
    • Assist in liaising with clients and other stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met and that they are kept informed about project progress.
    • Attend site meetings and contribute to discussions on progress, quality, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in site engineering, with expertise in both Civil and MEP works.
  • Experience in construction site management, including handling civil and MEP works on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards in Abu Dhabi.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
