Roles and responsibilities

We are looking for a passionateFinance Associate with experience inbalance sheet clean-up and financial reconciliation.The ideal candidate should have experience inmigration from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion and bringexpertise in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financialrecords and will have a strong eye for detail to identifydiscrepancies, implement corrective actions, and optimize financialreporting.

Keyresponsibilities:

  • Reviewhistorical balances, reconcile discrepancies, and adjust entries toensure compliance and clarity.
  • Perform monthly,quarterly, and annual reconciliations of balance sheet accounts toidentify variances and improve reportingaccuracy.
  • Prepare and review financialstatements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
  • Enhance accuracy andefficiency in accounting processes, particularly for the balancesheet and general ledger.
  • Prepare for audits byensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled, cleaned, andaudit-ready.
  • Work with AP, AR, and financeoperations teams to gather information for accuratereconciliations.

Knowledge, skills &experience:

  • Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or a relatedfield.
  • ACCA/CA/CPA is amust.
  • Minimum of 5 years in accounting, withspecific experience in balance sheetclean-up.
  • Experience in migration from OracelEBS to Oracle Fusion is an advantage.
  • Advancein Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRSstandards.
  • Analytical Ability: Excellentanalytical skills with attention todetail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal andwritten communication for clear reporting and cross-departmentalcollaboration.

. FinancialReporting

  • Assisting inthe preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, incomestatements, cash flow statements).
  • Ensuring theaccuracy and completeness of financialreports.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles(GAAP or IFRS) to ensure compliance and consistency inreporting.

2.AccountingKnowledge

  • Strongunderstanding of accounting concepts such as double-entrybookkeeping, journal entries, andreconciliations.
  • Ability to assist withmonth-end and year-end closingprocesses.
  • Experience with accounting software(e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) forrecording and processingtransactions.

3.Budgeting andForecasting

  • Assistingin the preparation and management ofbudgets.
  • Collaborating with teams to monitorand track budget performance.
  • Helping withfinancial forecasting to predict future revenue, expenses, and cashflow.

4. Data AnalysisandInterpretation

  • Analyzingfinancial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities forcost savings.
  • Supporting financial modeling forprojects or investments.
  • Using tools like Excelto create financial reports, dashboards, and models (e.g., pivottables, formulas, and charts).

5.Reconciliation

  • Performingbank reconciliations and matching transactions between the generalledger and bank statements.
  • Ensuring that allaccounts are accurately reconciled and that discrepancies areaddressed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting inreconciling intercompany transactions andaccounts.

6. Attentionto Detail

  • Ensuring allfinancial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliancewith organizational policies.
  • Verifyinginvoices, receipts, and other financial documents foraccuracy.
  • Maintaining precise records offinancial transactions and supportingdocumentation.

7.Accounts Payable andReceivable

  • Assistingwith accounts payable tasks such as processing invoices, verifyingpayments, and managing vendorrelationships.
  • Supporting accounts receivableby assisting with invoicing, tracking payments, and managing agingreports.
  • Ensuring timely payment to vendors andcollection from clients.

8.Cash FlowManagement

  • Assistingwith monitoring cash flow to ensure the business has sufficientliquidity.
  • Tracking cash inflows and outflows,ensuring timely processing of payments andreceipts.
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts andreports to assist in financialplanning.
