Identify the areas in which business accounts performance can be improved in cooperation with the hotel-based Director of Sales and Market Leader in the Country Sales Team by analyzing the data and other statistical information to ensure prompt actions are taken to eliminate business drawbacks.If necessary the Director joins the team of Country Sales/Market Leaders and the hotel-based sales teams at domestic and/or international trade fairs and events to meet up with the existing and prospective business partners.Conducts regular meetings with the hotel-based sales team to highlight the areas of business improvement, aligns the action plans with the set strategy, and supervises the plans’ implementation.Ensures that all market opportunities for the managed hotels in the region are optimized, looked after, and supervised.Resolves problems, completes sales performance audits, identifies trends, determines regional sales system improvements, and implements change when necessary.Targets to achieve key figures from key accounts/key markets through control and adjustment (if necessary) of the Sales Action Plan for the managed hotels in coordination with the Country Sales and the hotel-based Sales Teams.Participates in the discussion of the new contracts with local DMC and overseas tour operators with the Director of Sales GCC for every managed hotel.Analyzes the rate market surveys to advise the hotel-based Director of Sales of actual market trends and further steps.Ensures all hotel-based sales team members in the managed properties are thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s product and services.Monitors the training and development of the sales team associates in all hotels included in the scope of responsibilities.
