AbouttheRole:

Weare seeking an experienced and dynamic StoreManager with a strong background inretail and supermarket managementfor one of our Retail company client in Al Ain. This rolewill involve overseeing the daytoday operations of the storemanaging staff and ensuring excellent customer service and storeperformance. The ideal candidate will have experience in thesupermarket retail sector a strong understanding of UAE productsand a proactive approach to driving sales and storeefficiency.
KeyResponsibilities:

  1. StoreOperationsManagement:

    • Overseedaily operations of the supermarket ensuring smooth functioning ofall departments (e.g. produce dairy meatetc..
    • Maintain stock levels monitorinventory and ensure timely reordering ofproducts.
    • Ensure the store is cleanorganized and wellstocked at alltimes.

  2. StaffManagement andLeadership:

    • Managemotivate and develop a team of store associates to ensure a highstandard of customerservice.
    • Schedule staff shiftsensure proper staffing levels and handle payrolladministration.
    • Conduct regularperformance reviews provide training and resolve employeerelatedissues.

  3. CustomerServiceExcellence:

    • Ensurean exceptional customer experience by overseeing the store scustomer service practices.
    • Resolvecustomer complaints and issues promptly andprofessionally.
    • Implement strategiesto increase customer satisfaction andloyalty.

  4. SalesandProfitability:

    • Drivestore sales and profitability by meeting or exceeding salestargets.
    • Develop and implementpromotional strategies to increase foot traffic andsales.
    • Monitor financial performancecontrol costs and ensure the store operates withinbudget.

  5. Health& SafetyCompliance:

    • Ensurecompliance with all health and safety regulations andstandards.
    • Conduct regular auditsand implement safetyprotocols.
    • Ensure that the store iscompliant with UAE laws and retailregulations.

  6. Stockand ProductKnowledge:

    • Have athorough understanding of the store s products especiallyUAEspecific goods and localbrands.
    • Manage product displayssignage and shelf arrangements to maximizesales.
Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum35 years of experience as a Store Manager orAssistant Manager in a supermarket orretailenvironment.
    • Familiaritywith UAE products and local market trends isessential.
    • Proven track record ofmanaging staff and driving storeperformance.

  • Skills:

    • Strongleadership and management skills with the ability to motivate ateam.
    • Excellent customer service andcommunication skills.
    • Strongorganizational skills with the ability to handle multipletasks.
    • Sound understanding of retailoperations and inventorymanagement.
    • Ability to analyze salesdata and make datadrivendecisions.

  • Age:Candidates below 40 years are preferred butcandidates up to 45 years are also welcome toapply.

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in RetailManagement or related field(preferred).
