Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Facility Sustainability Officer To support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives within dans facilities

To focus on assisting with projects aimed at minimizing environmental impact, improving resource efficiency, and fostering a culture of sustainability

The ideal candidate should have excellent time management skills and be able to work on strict deadlines and has good communication and interpersonal skills.

This role will be based in Al Maktoum Airport (DWC).

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of comprehensive sustainability strategies / projects across all facilities.\
  • Monitor and report on project progress and outcomes.
  • Collect and analyse data related to energy consumption, water usage, and waste generation
  • Assist in preparing sustainability reports and documentation.
  • Help ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining environmental management systems (EMS) and sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Support the development and delivery of sustainability training programs.
  • Help promote sustainability awareness among employees and other stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for the sustainability team.
  • Manage sustainability-related documentation and records.
  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate sustainable practices into corporate policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in sustainability and property management to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Produce, audit and analyse statistics and reports on environmental performance to internal and external clients, regulatory authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform and carry out other administrative duties to support FM Members when required

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in sustainability, facilities management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent time management skills and able work to strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sustainability strategies.
  • Valid UAE Driving License
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
