Role Profile

This role is part of the International Commercial team in the Tirlán Consumer Foods business, which exports Food and Dairy products to many countries around the world.

The business is currently on a strong growth trajectory, reaching new markets and new customers, so it's an exciting time to join the business and be part of this dynamic team.

Responsibilities Develop and implement the sales strategy for the company's foodservice products in the Middle East region.

Foster and nurture relationships with new and existing customers, negotiate contracts, manage day-to-day operational issues, and assume overall responsibility for strategic customer relations, ensuring strong rapport with key decision-makers.

Oversee the business development pipeline, constantly seeking to create added value. Represent the company at key international trade shows and other events. Work closely with other key stakeholders across marketing, R&D, finance & operations, to grow our brands and market share. Drive the innovation agenda in the Middle East region.

Provide insights into the competitive landscape by collaborating with the Market Research & Insights team, and regularly analysing market pricing data.

Determine final prices in collaboration with the foodservice category teams. Collaborate with other internal departments to provide superior customer service. Serve as a key commercial interface within the S&OP process, providing timely and accurate forecasts for foodservice sales.

Requirements Prior experience in sales or business development, with evidence that you are results driven, self-motivated, and resourceful. Experience in international food and/or dairy highly desirable.

Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships at senior levels within the relevant customer base in the target regions.

High level of technical skills such as selling, negotiation, forecasting, and commercial awareness, as well as an ability to drive high levels of customer intimacy.

As a key aspect of this role will be daily collaborative interaction with other functions within the business, applicants will need to demonstrate success in working as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience of living in the region and being able to communicate in one or more languages preferred.
