About The Role


The Retail Omni and Store Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation of SAP S4/Hana and GK POS implementation for a major 2 year contract, Retail ERP transformation program.

This role required a strong understanding of POS and all the touch points related to the Omnichannel Retail environment. Implementation experience of GK POS with SAP S/4Hana is strongly preferred.

The role required extensive experience in point-of-sale operations and all the third-party integration for a smooth operation in a luxury retail environment.

The role required a highly motivated change leader with an interest in Digital Transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the ERP transformation program aligned with the business stakeholders and SI Partner for a successful implementation.
  • Delivery of the respective modules on time, within budget, and to quality
  • Drive the focus on the delivery of vanilla system and processes.
  • Delivery of business functional requirements and intended outcomes, with traceability to all planned scopes including POS Systems, Order Management, integration, data migration, and reporting in SaaS environment.
  • Transition program delivery to BAU on closure.
  • Adopt defined governance within ATG and across vendors to enable timely decisions to be made and full program visibility.

Business Engagement & Requirement

  • Responsible for Business process definition and modelling in collaboration with key business SMEs
  • Handson experience and business process expertise on Omnichannelenabled POS, Store fulfilment, Last Mile, and marketplace for online channels.
  • Needs to have a deep understanding of Customer order life cycle for both online and store starting from order to customer delivery.
  • Experience in different types of Payments and EFT integration with the Banks for Retail POS.
  • Good understanding of Designing, customizing, and configuring POS systems and the integrated modules.

Solution Design and Configuration

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Retail ERP solutions, considering industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Providing solutions to address the identified gaps and improve overall process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implementation experience of POS hardware, infrastructure, and PCI compliance specifications for a tightly integrated POS system.

Data Integrity

  • Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the Retail POS and Omni system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for effective reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain data models to support performance management processes.

ERP Implementation & Testing

  • Handson Experience in a full cycle of Implementation and upgrade as well as in support projects.
  • Knowledge of Retail POS and Omni Channel Workflow and process
  • Must have Launch/Support experience of Omni modules on a fully function Ecommerce website.
  • Must have experience in POS rollout in GCC countries.
  • Needs to understand localization, and GCC Tax rules.
  • Act as a liaison between the functional and business users during UAT.
  • Understand business requirements, define test cases, manually validate endtoend functionality, and provide adhoc training and user support as required.
  • Actively Interact with the Functional consultants and product owner to design test cases and validate business requirements.

Change Management

  • Involved in full cycle, largescale endtoend Digital transformational project implementations and playing a key role as a Change management Champion for Business units.
  • Responsible for change management within the organization as applicable.

Performance Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Experience in POS performance testing for a cloud environment.
  • Monitor the postimplementation performance of Core ERP system processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to drive improvements in core ERP processes, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Managing Performance

  • Directing, motivating, and developing your direct program team Retail IT and Support Partners
  • Stakeholder engagement and management across impacted stakeholders and contributing vendors.
  • Support the project teams, assume responsibility for the program's people and vendors delivery, and manage performance issues.
