Overview of the role
We are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced Warehouse Supervisor with for Al-Futtaim Logistics.

In this role, you are expected to effectively supervise warehouse activity, ensuring all deadlines and standards are achieved in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

What you will do

• You will supervise the daytoday operations in terms of receiving, checking, storing, picking, stock control activities, quality, health & safety, and to ensure that these functions are carried out in a timely, reliable and costeffective manner
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment activities
• Monitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availability
• Overseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel and directing work groups including inbound loads
• Ensure thorough training/crosstraining of all warehouse personnel
• Preparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling procedures
• Directing, auditing and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse function
• Ensuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, depicting a professional image at all times
• This includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as needed
• Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe work environment

Required skills to be successful

• 23 years' experience in large scale warehousing operations/ 3PL operations
• Detailed understanding of operational, administrative and system processes in the warehouse
• Well experience in managing a team
• Ecommerce fulfillment experience

About the team
The role will report to the Operations Manager and you will be managing a team of 10-15 associates.

You will be working in a dynamic and busy environment wherein you will be dealing directly with different stakeholders across the organization.

• You need to be a strong communicator in English and native languages of workforce. You must have an excellent planning, organizational skills, problem solving and has the ability of managing conflicts
