As part of the human resources team you will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor on all human capital management matters.

You will ensure a keen understanding of the business so as to implement HR strategies and practices that support robust business growth and reinforce a culture of performance focus and diversity.


You will arrange for new employees to be properly inducted into the business and given support in order to become productive as quickly as possible.

Through supporting and advising line managers you will educate them to create a culture of employee engagement within the vision, mission and values of MPAC Sports.


About the Job:
Core

  • To translate the brand plan and business requirements in to a plan for the business
  • To provide effective business cases for the resolution of identified issues to be presented to the Management.
  • To act as a strategic partner with the business in advising, coaching and mentoring management on people related issues.
  • To support and facilitate the implementation of business structure reorganisation and consolidation to deliver efficiencies.
  • Have an understanding of the business, in particular the sources of profit and the cost base to support with the implementation of HR strategies and practices.
Attract

  • To translate the annual brand plan for human capital and develop it into an annual plan for the business, acquiring the right Talent to achieve the objectives
Engage

  • To manage the Employee Engagement survey for the business, ensuring all impact plans have been submitted and implemented in the business
  • To implement Rewards and Recognition, reward top performers and ensure tracking of the same.
  • To manage Employee Relations issues within the business, supporting line managers to create a culture of employee engagement based upon MPAC Sports values
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Develop

  • Plays an integral role in the Talent Review processes, challenging and providing input to the line managers decisions
  • To provide input into the Business Learning Needs Analysis for the business to support the accomplishments of key business metrics
  • Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends


Retain - To ensure that compliance on policy, procedures and exception approvals is maintained to review and strengthen business internal controls and procedures.

Ensure updating of procedures as required and writing of new policies per management guidelines. - Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system, keeping past and current records.

  • To conduct annual salary adjustment across the business, ensuring alignment to the Brand. Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees, scheduling management, hearing and resolving employee grievances, counselling employees and supervisors.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource local country federal requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, representing the organization at hearings
  • Accountability of the Employee Manual and ensuring the same is communicated to all employees in terms of policies and procedures
  • Notifying employees of holidays, approval of employees time off requests and annual leave requests and recording the same.
  • In charge of employee contracts, confidentiality agreements, visas, fines, making sure all employees files are up to date.

  • To contribute to Brand wide projects outside of the business
  • To conduct the annual manpower and budgeting exercise accurately and efficiently. Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations, preparing pay budgets, monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions, recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • 4 years HR Generalist Experience
  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner.

Salary:
AED4, AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Recruitment: 4 years (required)
Human Resource Generalist: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)
