We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant kids play area in Dubai.

As the heart of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our young guests and their families.

You will lead a team of play area attendants, manage inventory and equipment, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the play area.


Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a team of play area attendants.
  • Motivate and coach team members to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and implement training programs.
  • Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the play area, ensuring smooth flow and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and play areas.
  • Implement and maintain effective hygiene and sanitation protocols.
  • Manage inventory of toys, games, and equipment, ordering replacements as needed.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping to address any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service:
  • Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries and resolving any concerns promptly.
  • Ensure the satisfaction and safety of children and their families within the play area.
  • Handle birthday party bookings and event coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Financial Management:
  • Monitor cash flow and reconcile daily takings.
  • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance and key metrics.
  • Identify and implement costsaving measures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the kids entertainment industry.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, staff training, and performance management.
  • Strong operational skills with a focus on safety, hygiene, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and adults.
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant pointofsale systems.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are a plus.
