Manager - Product Development Manager | Al Futtaim Finance | Automotive
Al-Futtaim Group, a privately held regional business based in Dubai, UAE, has been operating since the 1930s. With over 35,000 employees across more than 20 countries in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, we partner with over 200 globally renowned brands.
We are currently looking for a Sr Manager – Product Management who will be responsible for overseeing all products offered through Al Futtaim Financial Services (AFF). As we aim to expand our offerings, we need an experienced product manager to lead a dedicated development team.
- Drive the product- and business-planning processes for cross-functional teams
- Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships
- Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments
- Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
Market Insights
- Leading the research and analysis of the AFF business channels
- Manage and challenge the business entities' sales planning objectives and actions through reporting
- Provide thought leadership on emerging topics and drive insightful market/competitor/economic reporting
- Develop enhanced analytics applications aligned with business objectives
- Measure business entity performance through expertly defined KPIs
Product Management
- Establish a centre of excellence for product price positioning
- Implement a standardized methodology for product and price monitoring
- Issue monthly pricing and transaction price tracking reports
- Manage commercial relations with partner banks and support various initiatives
Required Skills to be successful:
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a multinational environment in leading Automotive brands
- Leadership experience with a track record of delivery
- Strong preference for pricing research and analysis expertise

- Proven leadership skills with evidence of delivering results through a team
- Self-starter with the ability to think strategically
- Expertise in statistical and data analysis techniques
- Excellent commercial acumen and awareness

What equips you for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in product design or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive or financial services software
- Demonstrable knowledge of IT systems, marketing, reporting tools, etc
