Job description:_

  • Receiving payments by cash, cheques, mobile money and /or direct transfer and reconcile the same with invoice before issuing receipt,
  • Ensure all payments received are properly reconciled and banked as per company's routines
  • Manage petty cash handling as per company's policy and procedure and liaise with branches to ensure they are following the same.
  • Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues, expenditures and liabilities)
  • Release payments to suppliers as and when required accurately.
  • Ensure all cash clearing account are properly reconciled and supported
  • Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card
transactions.

  • Performing tasks as assigned by line manager.

  • Review all invoices and receipts to ensure the mathematical correctness and adequacy of the documents before payment is made;

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Good communications skills, interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team environment;
  • Good English skills (both spoken and written);
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience in the proper procedures of recording and handling of cash
