The position is basedin Dubai reporting to Corporate Vice President of Business AreaMiddle East Africa and CIS (BAMEAC). Yourcoaching and innovative mindset are instrumental in bringing ourproducts through to the patients in a compliant way
Theposition As General Manager andVice President you will drive the strategic leadership and setdirection and priorities to drive business performance improvementand growth in alignment with Novo Nordisks corporate strategy. By combining a strong commercial mindsetand business understanding you can develop innovative solutions andstrategies while providing guidance and direction to the team. Youwill set the stage for a futurefit organisation that encompassesboth shortterm and longterm goals. Throughyour extensive leadership experience you will maintain and nurturean existing culture of engagement and high performance where peopleare empowered to take decisions and where theres a high sense ofbelonging driven by purpose and employee experience. You will be head up a crossfunctional teamof various departments and Business Units such as: Obesity RareDisease Diabetes Finance Clinical Medical Regulatory &Pharmacovigilance and Legal Ethics Compliance & Quality andPeople & Organisation where effective communicationcollaboration and best practice sharing is at the forefront.
Qualifications
  • Youhave a degree qualification coupled with significant experience inpharmaceutical industry.
  • A minimum of 5 yearsof previous GM experience from pharmaceutical healthcare industrywould be preferred and important consideration in decision making.Combined with a proven track record heading up sizable salesorganizations are required to be successful in thisrole.
  • Bringing significant business experiencefrom the healthcare industry in the Middle East Region is seen ashighly beneficial.
  • As a seasoned people leaderyou are investing in developing your employees and support theirgrowth. You are comfortable with multicultural environment youcreate a collaborative inclusive culture you empower and fosterdiversity and encourage innovation.
  • You are acommercially savvy business executive an excellent communicator andanalytical thinker experienced developing and implementingstrategies.
  • You can make clear choices thatbalance the organisations overall goals andobjectives.
  • In addition you are resilient andcan manage ambiguity and changing priorities.
