Description:The Vice President, Programmer and Events role is responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of all programming and events, and for business development in this vertical. The VP will further drive client and stakeholder engagement and relationships at senior level, while also managing the department's budget and financial targets.
Job Responsibilities- Design and execute the Division's business development plan and long-term strategy in line with the strategic objectives of the ECDA.
- Identify global trends and leverage opportunities for the Group to contribute/shape global discourse within the context of (inter alia) international collaboration and Water-Food-Energy-Climate and Africa.
- General understanding of global affairs and international trends within the scope of the UAE's international cooperation agenda
- Experience working in mega events and international organisations (such as COP, WEF, World Expos, UN)
- Working knowledge of: structure and planning mega events, strategic comms/marketing, nation branding, content programming & event delivery
- Proven track record of successful business development implementation
